Terms and Conditions.

WELCOME TO POPACADEMY LTD - YOUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

Dear Pop Academy Community,

We are thrilled to have you join us at Pop Academy Ltd! Before we embark on this exciting journey together, we want to ensure that you are well-informed about the terms and conditions that will govern your experience with us. Please read through this agreement carefully as it sets the foundation for a positive and enjoyable time at Pop Academy.

1. Building Relationships

This agreement establishes the framework for our relationship with you, the Parent/Guardian, and us, POPACADEMY LTD. It is not just a piece of paper; it's the basis of our partnership to ensure everyone benefits to the fullest extent from their Pop Academy membership.

2. Free Trials and Membership

We want you to feel the rhythm before you sing, which is why we offer free trials (taster sessions). Your child can experience Pop Academy with the approval of our Academy Mentor, depending on availability. It's important to note that a free trial does not guarantee a permanent spot at Pop Academy, and it cannot be retroactively claimed.

Your membership at Pop Academy grants you the opportunity to enroll one child in any of our nationwide academies. If your circumstances change, and you need to switch to a different academy, we've got you covered.

3. Membership Fees and Flexibility

Our membership fees are £100 per calendar month ).

While we aim to keep our class timetables and instructors consistent, please understand that they may change from time to time without prior notice. We appreciate your flexibility.

4. Adapting to Circumstances

  • In unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, like inclement weather, pandemics, venue availability issues, or lockdowns, we may switch to online sessions (Pop Academy Online Live). Rest assured, if we conduct physical face-to-face sessions or a combination of both, the standard monthly fee applies, payable via direct debit.

5. Punctuality and Respect

We value punctuality to maintain the flow of our classes. To avoid disruptions, kindly arrive on time. Please note that entry to classes may be restricted for anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late.

Our teachers work hard to create a safe and enjoyable environment. If a child's behavior jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of others or their learning experience, the teacher may request them to leave the class.

6. Additional Rules and Minimum Membership Period

Each Pop Academy may have additional rules specific to their location. We'll keep you informed so you, your child, and any guests can adhere to them effectively.

The minimum membership period is two months. During this time, your monthly membership subscription is paid via Direct Debit unless your membership is terminated, suspended, or transferred in accordance with these terms. We may modify session days, times, or locations, but if these changes impact your attendance, we'll waive the usual notice period.

7. Flexibility and Fairness

If, for any reason, the tuition offered falls below the expected standards on more than one occasion, you have the option to terminate this agreement without liability.

While we'd love to see your child at every session, we understand that circumstances might prevent attendance due to sickness, holidays, government restrictions, or personal decisions. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or makeup sessions for missed classes.

8. Compassion During Tough Times

  • In case your child is unable to attend Pop Academy for over a month due to injury or illness during the minimum membership period, we'll suspend your membership. If attending Pop Academy becomes medically impossible for your child, we'll cancel the minimum membership period, with proper medical documentation.

9. Financial Responsibility

Timely payments are crucial to keeping your membership active. If you miss a payment, we may temporarily withdraw the right for your child to attend any Pop Academy session. Interest may be applied to unpaid sums.

If your account falls into arrears on more than three occasions in a calendar year, we reserve the right to terminate your membership immediately.

10. Continued Membership and Respect

After the minimum membership period, your membership will automatically continue unless either party cancels with at least one month's notice.

We believe in a supportive and respectful community. In the event of serious or repeated breaches of our membership rules, we may terminate your membership and your child's entitlement to attend Pop Academy.

11. Payment and Conduct

  • Monthly payments are due on the first of each month via Direct Debit. Non-payment may result in the suspension of your membership and your child's exclusion from Pop Academy.

12. Media and Promotion

  • We may use photographs and video footage of your child for promotional purposes. It's our way of showcasing the talent and growth within our community.

13. Embracing Creativity

  • Music Videos are a core module at Pop Academy, where students collaborate on music videos as bands or solo artists. These videos are shared on our official channels and social media platforms. By joining Pop Academy Ltd, you are agreeing to these membership terms.

14. Creating a Respectful Environment

  • Pop Academy has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior by you, your child, or guests. Such conduct will result in expulsion and may involve legal action.

15. Our Commitment to Your Safety

  • While we encourage creativity, we prioritize safety. We expect you and your child to treat all Pop Academy members, children, staff, and teachers with respect and consideration. Rude, offensive, or aggressive behavior is not acceptable.

16. Staying Healthy Together

  • For the health and safety of everyone, smoking, alcohol consumption, and the use or presence of illegal substances are not permitted anywhere within our academies.

17. Your Voice Matters

  • If you have any concerns or complaints that cannot be resolved through our Academy Mentor, please contact us privately. We are committed to addressing your concerns to the best of our ability.

18. Adapting to Change

  • We reserve the right to make changes to these rules as we evolve and improve our services.

19. Cancellation Notice

  • If you wish to terminate your membership, a four-week notice period is required. This notice must be provided in writing to your Pop Academy or via email to music@popacademy.co.uk. The time of receipt (not sending) marks the start of the notice period.

20. Governed by English Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Thank you for choosing Pop Academy Ltd. We're here to inspire, nurture talent, and create lasting memories together. If you ever have questions or need clarification on any of these terms, please don't hesitate to reach out. Welcome to the Pop Academy family!

Warm regards,
